I think Adam warlock was a good opportunity for a "reverse comic relief" (i dont know if there is a better term) i mean, in a movie where everyone is a comic relief, one serious character wouldnt hurt the movie, and the other character could still do jokes about his seriousness
"But the only thing horrible about it was the film itself" š Thanks for the review man
Honestly I was going into this movie ready to laugh at marvels downfall but this movie was quite a good one, almost felt like back to its roots every character had an awesome development and I fell in love with Rocket after watching his story it actually made me shed a tear!
Remember everyone loved Chris Pratt for a while, but then he came out as Christian and everyone hated him for some reason?
Itās surprising to hear that Reaper likes something from Disney again, rare moment
It makes sense that Peter and faux-Gamora didnāt end up together, I guess. But Hollywood has forced me to view everything they ācreateā with suspicion, and their recent obsession with turning all men into simps, and making sure no heterosexual relationships work out, makes me a little weary of agendas even hereā¦
I'll say this, when Rocket woke up, and Peter and Groot embraced him, I actually cried. This movie is definitely not as good as the first two Gaurdians movies, but none the less, all the Gaurdians movies remain my favorite of the MCU
Adamās āmomā dying was helpful in turning him to the Guardianās side so yeah that death did have an important affect on the plot
This is it. The end of MCU. It was fun while it lasted.
No you re wrong about this scene , i just saw the movie today , the characters turn against the antagonist not because he called himself a god, but because the ship was destroyed by attacks from the guardian. Despite this, he continued to focus on capturing Rocket instead of trying to turn the ship.
Why cant we just get one damn movie that takes itself seriously with funny moments. Not a movie bombarded with comic reliefs for the sake of comic relief
Don't stop making videos bro, your funny af and you will blow up soon,
I was surprised that Kang survived the Quantum Realm and decided to start torturing animals for no reason
It was heavily implied through High evolutionary's expression that his intention with Rocket was never to make a better specie, but to kill him and study so that he wouldn't make anything that is smarter than him again. He only say that in front of his staffs so that he didn't look like a petty jealous "god".
Man you gotta sympathize with Peter though I mean you lose the love of your life and then she comes back from the dead only to have no memory of you. Shits heartbreaking he obviously had to at least try and communicate with her and put his feelings out there after seeing her for the first time in a long one. He stopped too after he realize he was getting nowhere
Marvel has been in such a weird limbo situation where the themes don't match up with marketing or the plots in each title.
About the animals cyber parts being pointless, like on the wheelchair with the walrus, here's my theory: - In the movie it's shown that the High Evolutionary experiments and creates over time more "perfect" specimen, to the point he doesn't need cybernetic stuff anymore, he puts the animal in a cage, "magic smoke", and boom! New specimen. So what if Rocket simply was his final attempt with cybernetics, and the other animals his first attempts? Maybe at first he didn't know how to make an animal talk, so he removed half of the bunny skull and replaced it with a talking mask device and a small upgrade on the brain (which explains why Floor talks bad), then his next try was to figure out how to make animals walk fast as a human, so he created a wheelchair for the walrus + cyber modifications on his face to get expressions. Then, with Lylla the challenge was to create prehensible hands, so the first attempt was to cut the arms out completely and put cyber arms on her. And then Rocket, which with clothed on looks like a perfect anthro raccoon, while in reality he is simply a feral raccoon cut in pieces together with metal to being reshaped as a human. My theory is supported by the fact that while killing them all as a final purpose, the High Evolutionary still wanted to take Rocket brain as a thing of value to test more, while had no interest in parts of the others, since they were previous and rough attempts. At least, these are my two cents ^^
You've easily become one of my favorite entertaining reviewers. Keep suffering through all these crap for our enjoyment, soldier. We appreciate and salute you
Odd times where you can watch a very mid movie, and still feel like it's a breath of fresh air.
