Did you guys see Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle runs at 60 on Switch 2? It wasn't patched, it just turns out the original ran at 30 because it also had a double-buffer Vsync and spent its entire time at 30 on Switch 1.
I’d also really love it if the Thousand-Year Door remake got an update to 60fps to better match the original GameCube version! Like John said it’d be so nice.
I've been loving these free updates. I really hope they tackle some older titles like legends Arceus, which would be incredible at 60 fps.
HDR for Metroid Dread and prime Remaster would be awesome!
I’m replaying Odissey on Switch 2 and oh my lord, i think it’s one of the games that benefits the most. Feels so smooth and beautiful on Switch 2. Of all the free title upgrades I feel it’s the one that benefited the most because of how the image quality impacted my experience. More than the other games.
WHERE ARE THE XENOBLADE QUADRILOGY 60FPS UPDATES NINTENDO?!?!?!
One thing Splatoon 3 on the Switch 2 improved was Salmon Run. Everyone in the high level rank had Slowdowns on Switch 1 which now on Switch 2, it runs with consistent 60FPS no matter how much stuff is going on. Even with the graphical upgrade
Never had the original Switch, so I'm loving exploring the catalogue. I think the Switch 2 is incredible, tbh.
Probably the first time I was impressed by the Switch 2. I'm hoping for locked 60fps patches for Astral Chain and the Bayonetta series.
We need a patch for Luigi's Mansion 3, Metroid Dread and Prime Remastered, Super Mario Bros Wonder, Pikmin games, 3D All Stars, and Smash Brothers. I would love to see those games running at 1800p/4k.
Astral Chain at 60fps would be at the top of my wishlist for sure!
I really want a Fire Emblem: Three Houses/Engage resolution and frame rate upgrade.
Please Nintendo, give us a Metroid Prime 4K upgrade and a Metroid Dread 120 FPS upgrade.
New Super Mario Bros. U actually ran in 720p 60fps on the Wii U. There was a proclamation by Nintendo on their website that it would run in 1080p, but they very quickly pulled that back after publishing that information.
Would love to see more of these videos on Switch 2 performance of Switch 1 games!
I actually think updating odyssey was an important move by Nintendo. You want to show people a modern Mario game that looks great on a tv. Especially if they are interested in Mario or never played a game like it before.
Smash Ultimate getting a 4K upgrade would be brilliant and I'm surprised nobody mentioned it. That is one of the best looking and performing games on Switch and it could scale perfectly. Please Nintendo, make it happen.
I find it funny how New Super Mario Bros U ended up being Nintendo’s very first game in both 1080p and 4K
John is the first person to ask the question why are there no 120fps patches. Thank you
