:No one but no one can ever perform this song like he does. I'm 78 yrs. old, have cancer and kidney failure etc. and even though I can't get up and dance to this song, I'm pretty good at dancing in my chair. lol He just lifts my spirit listening to him and watching him perform. I give thanks to you, Bruce, for making my day a little brighter.
Bittersweet song for me. My mom would drop whatever she was doing whenever this video came on and dance with Bruce. My mom passed away a month ago and this song will forever be a beautiful memory of her. Update: Wow. So many likes! I really only posted this to share and vent a little bit. I really didn't think so many people would reply to and like my comment! You are all incredibly kind and thoughtful so thank you for that. May you all be blessed in this crazy time.
Our dad loved Bruce Springsteen’s music. Thinking of you always and on Father’s Day xxxx
My dad's favorite song. We used it with proud and respect at his funeral a month ago, in church. He was suffering from Alzheimers, but every time I played this song, a big smile appeared on his face.
Thank you Bruce for this absolute masterpiece. I‘m only 22 but I‘m glad my mum introduced me to your music ❤ Love from Germany 🫶
Almost impossible to believe, I was at that show in June 1984 at the St Paul Civic Center, Bruce played that song 3 times in a row to get all the footage needed, he was so apologetic and we just didn’t care! The crowd went wild when he pulled that girl on stage to dance, we didn’t know she was planted there or that 10 years later, she would become Monica on Friends. Now I watch this and I feel like I’m there again.
Bruce Springsteen is and always will be an American legend. 😁❤
My Mother used to listen this song almost every day. I remember telling her to lower the volume so I could sleep. She died of cancer a week ago and I would do anything to tell her to turn up the volume as loud as she wants. My heart is broken. I'm sorry mom. I'll always love you 😢
One thing I appreciated about Bruce's music was it was all about the working man and real problems, Not just the stereotypical love song
I’m 30 years old and I love to read the comments from 70+ people and that despite our cultural, economical and social differences we can still enjoy great songs like these.
Absolutely love The Boss and this song is incredible
Playing this song today with the eclipse brought back so many memories. Met my wife on the dance floor. 76 male
Don’t normally leave comments, This song has really recently been a life saver for me. I’ve just recently just got diagnosed with epilepsy and I’ve had to give up driving and been started on medication that has affected my mood. But this song is able to make me smile instantly and keeps me going through the tough times. Thank you Bruce :)
I was at this concert at the St Paul Civic Center. They played/filmed it twice to get everything right. Bruce apologized between the two and thanked us for our patience. Great memories.
Hî,î stîll backîng to my lovely 80's when,î heard song lîke thîs. Hectîc decade the best tîme of my fuckîng lîfe. Long lîfe 4 the 80's....lîvîng 4 ever însîde our hearts n' mînds.Just sîmple lîke that.❤🎉😂
I dont know why I'm so obsessed with this video. I love the lyrics and his showmanship. There is such humility to this song. He's a national treasure.
My brother had a best friend who was a exact image of Bruce in his prime in 1984 when this song was in the charts. Swear to God I melted every time he knocked on our door!
This will probably be the last time I get to write to everyone and give my thanks and gratitude to everyone for your love, prayers and support. I am now under home hospice care. I am so thankful to all of you and your kindness. I will still dance with Bruce to the last breath. I pray everyone will stay healthy, happy and look forward to the next day with all of its beauty around you.
Como me encantará Bruce y su dancing in the dark!!! Aun me encanta escucharlo! The Best!!
