@BassBuzz

What’s the #1 technique tip you wish someone told you when you picked up bass?

@corontsurara3862

I'm noticing that a good number of these After videos involve a new bass. So I think the message is pretty clear, buying more gear is the real answer to getting better.

@bettybeal6243

I gotta tell you-YOU are an excellent teacher. I tried to play bass 25yrs ago n didn't get very far. Even tho my fingers are short n my little finger was all curled up I pecked out a few songs n then quit. Now-using your videos I'm REALLY gettin good n using my little finger. I thought id NEVER get to use my little finger!. WOW!!! I really appreciate you so very much. THANK YOU!!!!!

@derekb2347

Props to all of Josh's students who were willing to share their mistakes. Impressive results!

@nimz7309

Josh, I've said this in your course already, but you are such a great teacher. You don't move too fast, you don't assume that we already know certain things and you understand all of the difficulties that new players might be facing when learning the instrument. And you make it fun! I've learned so much already and am looking forward to learning more. Beginner to Badass rocks.

@paulinaandreu3848

I've been playing for a couple of years now and I do make some of those mistakes, BUT I DO NOT NEGLECT MY PINKY because I learned with the Beginner to Badass course and you made me use that pinky from day one! So thank you for helping me avoid that number one mistake right from the start! ;)

I like Josh using (rocking!) a reasonable priced bass. This really helps to put the focus on the content and technique.

@Soundbrigade

OK, great advices and now back to sanding my Harley Benton bass guitar kit …. Got two shades of pink to spray.

@CHEWYCHEWYQQ

Love that you still post on this channel. Your videos are for sure some of the best bass lessons on Youtube. Any plans on Beginner to Badass 2? (BadAss to BadderAss)

@articircle

really enjoyed seeing real examples of each of these. was also very encouraging to see all the improvements all these bass players are making! added bonus seeing the bass upgrades several of them made - that blue chameleon ibanez looks so good!

@_aurora_2086

I was looking for the cool wood working video, but I couldn't find it so I had to improve my playing.

@LowEndVibez

I feel like Not Josh needs a hug after this video 🤣

@andrewdelgado585

Josh got me with the clicking on the really cool woodworking video 🤣
I love watching your videos because they help me test myself and see if I'm making those mistakes too.

@Megatronpt

And for those that do not know, Begginer to Badass course has been totally revamped!

More hours, better quality, better haircuts, and all for the same lifetime price... with also access to forums and discord for prolonged banter, helpful members, staff and ocasional friendly competitions in a music game!

@juanvillanueva2848

for that squishy hand thing, I started wearing rings, and it serves as a reminder to avoid scrunching. Doesn't completely stop it, but it gets me to be aware of how I finger.

@wesleybrehm9386

Darn, you hit the nail on the head with the woodworking video joke :)P

@mishi4187

I literally started learning bass last december and im thankful for videos like these that teach me what to do and what not to do!

@fuzzyelf1

I can’t thank you enough for helping point out some of the mistakes I’ve been making for years.

@LowEndVibez

Still best content value per minute for bass ❤

@FatMattBass

I think the mistake I see the most on beginners is the flying fingers thing.
