ive seen it too many times: two girls with disordered eating tendencies get very close and end up egging each other on, developing a very deep emotional bond in the process. this is why they think they’re happy and talk about everything with such vague joy and amazement: they’re starved, and they’re high on this toxic relationship. i’ve seen this exact behaviour in my personal life

As someone who worked in an eating disorder clinic. This is so painfully obvious they are starving themselves.

As someone that's gone days without eating and gotten to a unhealthy size and shape for an 18 yr old..she has absolutely starved for this role and the emotions are apart of it, I was constantly emotional and crying or just plain angry, I may not like her due to her controversies but I don't want anyone starving at any time.

Im anorexic and severely underweight and skinny. She said she dosnt eat when stressed or busy which she was while filming the movie. I believe her and agree but she could be going through anything. Just hope shes okay

When you’re not eating, you’re extremely prone to erratic emotional behavior. Whether it’s because of Ozempic or an ED, it could be why they are so emotional. I also think it’s possible it’s a media tactic to distract us from Ariana’s track record of heartlessness (i.e. “stealing” other men). Makes her seem “genuine”, which I personally don’t believe she is. She’s an actress.

Depression. Depression can also cause weight loss. I mean this out of a spirit of kindness, but if someone is sickly thin, please do not automatically assume it is drugs. Mental illness can also cause eating disorders, as well as drug use. It’s about the person’s mental health always. Please be kind when assessing others and remember, we are lucky if we do not understand another’s plight. Judgement should be a tool to help others, not hurt them. Assuming someone is on drugs negates the mental health of that person.

I'm anorexic, and I don't think this is normal, the hair, the skin, even the voice screams eating disorder, I don't want to point fingers and I might be wrong, but I hope they get better.
