It's probably skill issue, but I don't feel secured enough with Gallagher. Luocha spoiled me since his release, with never caring or spending skill points, Luocha got my back.

Gallagher - i find gallagher to be best if castorice is the SOLO dps. A tribbie, cas, gallagher, flex harmony/nihility team will be fine with just gallagher. He CAN work with dual dps but since the pair is typically going to be blade or mydei, he works very poorly in those teams.

Luocha - luocha is practically made for the dual dps cas teams. I’ve tried blade and cas out and gallagher was point blank not enough. He just wasn’t charging cas up quick enough, even with him at 143 speed. Luocha was absolutely perfect for this team. I tried out cas and mydei and he worked perfectly there too. ESPECIALLY with blade and cas. Blade and cas are both skill point neutral, blade on the slightly negative side, but a team like tribbie, cas, blade, luocha generates a hell of a lot of skill points. Often times i was using luocha’s skill on the dragon JUST because i was going to be overcapping skill points and could use the energy anyway.

Lynx - she’s great for her aggro talent and for her hp increase on her skill, but her overall healing output is meh for castorice teams. You need to be healing a lot and very often to keep cas charged, and lynx has a lot of difficulty doing it. You need to skill a lot more often and you will risk running out of skill points, especially if your flex slot is skill point negative or neutral.

Natasha - just. Don’t. If you have bailu, use her instead. She actually works well with castorice. Natasha’s healing isn’t weak, it’s just got the same issues as lynx but without the aggro talent and the hp increase.

Bailu - a surprisingly good teammate for cas, especially in dual dps teams with health sponges like blade and mydei. No cleansing actually isn’t an issue, since the damage taken from dots will be beneficial for cas, though that becomes irritating if it’s a quantum, ice, or imaginary effect. Bailu’s healing is extremely high, similar to an overcapping luocha’s, and since cas counts overheals, the bounce isn’t much of an issue.

Huohuo - i wouldn’t. Cas doesn’t want attack, can’t regen energy, and huohuo can be quite sp negative if her passive heals can’t keep up. You’d be better off using lynx or natasha here.

Lingsha - not particularly great for cas, not particularly bad. She has high heal rates and a high attack rate which is nice for a tribbie. She can be quite sp negative though, and again if that flex slot is sp hungry that can screw you.

Supports -

Tribbie - yes. Res pen, insane DDD lc spammer, sp positive, enemies take more damage, high hp pool, etc. Probably going to be cas’ bis harmony for a long time.

Robin - ehhh still good. She can’t make any use of the follow up cdmg or the atk boost, so those are overall losses, but the 100% AA is still valuable and the overall dmg increase is nice. I’d still recommend other characters.

Ruan Mei - Very nice with cas. Sp positive, RES PEN in her ult, passively increases speed, skill increases damage. Only downside is her ult delays enemy actions if they’re broken, which cas doesn’t want.

Bronya - quite good, honestly. Very sp negative though, but the massive crit dmg and dmg boosts are good, + 100% AA is still invaluable.

Sparkle - not really useful. The HUGE crit damage increase is nice, but 50% AA can be really painful sometimes. Extra sp are nice since sparkle is sp negative, plus standard dmg boosts are good. Would still recommend bronya or ruan mei over her for cas though. Especially if your healer is weak.

Asta - 60 speed is still insanely good, but that’s about it for her value. Sp negative, but can spam ddd quite nicely. She should be your ‘last resort’ choice.

Sunday - just below tribbie and RM in his value for cas. His memosprite advance is great, as are his massive crit damage and crit rate increases. The energy regen is useless for cas, but the sp neutrality is very nice, as is the 100% AA. He’s the easiest to use action advancer for cas.

Hanya - just. Don’t do it. It’s not worth it. Cas doesn’t need attack, and the sp positivity isn’t worth the buff tradeoff.

Yukong - no

Tingyun - no

Pela - yes !!! Excellent aoe def shred, sp economy depends on how you play her. Skill removes some enemy buffs - very handy.

Black swan - i wouldn’t. Ult is the only useful part for cas.

Jiaoqiu - dmg taken for enemies is nice - that’s about it. He’d work very nicely with gallagher or luocha, but i still wouldn’t recommend it.

Silver wolf - for moc, she actually works quite nicely with cas. Anywhere else you really just need to play pela if the def shred is what you’re after.

Welt - NO. His entire kit is based around slowing enemies down. Cas wants exactly the opposite.

Guinaifen - no

Sampo - no

Acheron - no

Luka - no

Kafka - no

I used Luocha all the way and I picked him up on the free Golden Chicken Nugget exchange.

Ruan Mei/Luocha/RMC/Castorice line up for me and I feel comfortable using them, even on auto.
