Every box of ammo I ever got in the army, ammo came in 20rd boxes, 2 stripper clips of 10. 2 boxes per pouch in a bandoleer, and there were several bandoleers in a can. Each bandileer had one of these spoons in it. We Called em speed loaders. Worked like a charm.
It's sad how many company's make fancy speed loaders and this simple piece of metal is still rocking the scene.
Meanwhile every US military vet has been using them since the 80s.
Didn’t know the spoons worked on pmags.
The difference between a mag and a clip . Very nice brother.
In the Marines, we call it a speed loader. Very cool tool for loading 30 rd mags.
1980’s Marine Corps we called them speed loaders
Nice to see someone who actually knows the difference between a clip and a magazine.
It never ceases to amaze me how so many "experts" have absolutely no idea about common stuff from just a while back. Too much working their mouths and not listening and learning. Way to go spreading some knowledge, man. Keep it up. Sometimes they listen.
You could save the time loading stripper clips for loading your mag.
The raynge is always fun.
I made a thing (got the idea from another design I can’t take credit for it) but you lay your mag in it and has enough space to fit up to 30rds of most common rifle ammo from 556 to x39 and even x51/308 and you can load up a mag pretty fast. I’ve found honestly that the time it takes me to out the rounds in the thing is time I could’ve just spent loading the mag so while these things are definitely thumb muscle savers that’s really the only benefit unless you buy a case of old new stick bulk ammo already on stripper clips than that would take out the time of loading them up or any device that loads magazines.
Stripper clips and Quiet Riot. Hell yeah!
Bro looks like Matthew McConaughey and Shia LaBeouf had a kid together! 😂
Tip, there are two ways to make them load easier. Grab both ends of the clips, and twist the rounds back and forth to flex the clip a bit. It loosens it up. The other thing you can do if you reuse the clips is put a drop or two of oil on there. I load them without the spoon either. You just line it up good.
Yeah but the time it takes to load 3 stripper clips you can just load the mag. Thats only useful if your ammo comes on the stripper clip
As a former Marine, if you know what you are doing, you don't even need the spoon.
Perfect, all my ammo for 223/5.56 and 308 are on stripper clips
Wannabe tacticool dudes that never had the balls to enlist in one of our military branches usually have no clue where those come from.
