Blue lock’s take on luck honestly recontextualized everything i thought i knew about being lucky. As someone who considered myself “unlucky”, i always thought it was unfair that other could just stumble into one good thing after another through no effort of their own. If you look at any situation that involves luck the same as rebounding a ball, it makes getting lucky seem much more possible. If the ball has an equal chance of landing in each spot, then you should choose the spot where you can best capitalize on the situation if luck happens to come your way. The worst case scenario is getting lucky and not being prepared to take advantage of it, so focus on what you can control and find comfort in the fact that youll be ready if luck ever decides to shine upon you

2:50 I like the little touch with the music and football. Great quality as always

“My comfort zone is slightly outside of my comfort zone.” I used to say that as a kid, back when I was improving quickly.

@Bakuganmaster51

Blue lock has so much good dialogue that gets absolutely waved over by insanely cringe worthy dialogue. i got 200 chapters in but after having to read the word 'Devour' 5 times in 3 pages, I kinda just went, "It's been fun... but i think that's as much as I can take"

@lucasyujiogawa

so glad I stumbled upon your channel and can't wait for your piece on Blue Lock's second season lol

@reezwave

Blue Lock is that sport anime who exaggerates everything without making it cringe

@kurizu007

Willing suspension of disbelief as far as the talking during soccer goes but you can get a chat in when the ball is on the other side of the field.
I've played soccer my whole life and I absolutely loved the representation in Blue Lock.

Bachira's CGI monster is the worst part for me but the the other CGI movements and scenes they choose to show during a match did a great job conveying the same movement on the field.
The movement behind people when they aren't looking, the speed, the adaptation; I'm just so impressed how grounded/realistic they managed to keep everyone's "Weapons".

And yes, the morality of the show was incredibly refreshing, the balance of ego and team, the grind and mentality to observe and adapt yourself that Isagi shows to pursue is a wonderful concept for any competitive spirit.
