"All those moments will be lost in time, like… tears in rain..." R.I.P. Vangelis (1943 - 2022)
Rest in peace Vangelis. You inspired generations of artists around the world with your incredible music.
Only 9.9 million views is actually insane. Maybe the greatest of all time right here
Gives one a strange nostalgia of a memory that doesn't exist...
Rest in Peace, Vangelis. You gave us some of the most beautiful synth scores ever. You will be missed…
He created this for people living in past to feel futuristic and here we are people living in future feeling nostalgic
It's May 19, 2022; we all know why we here.... RIP Maestro
It's sad, sexy, depressing, romantic, thought provoking...i love it.
Listening this while drinking a whiskey, watching outside the window from my flat in Berlin. Huge buildings, foggy city lights, the sound of distant police cars. This song fits so well..
RIP Vangelis. The soundtracks in Blade Runner where so immersive, it changed everything!
As a tradition, starting off the year with some blade runner blues.
This movie was so ahead of its time. ..
Blade Runner will literally change your life. It grows and evolves as you do . I have watched it at different times in my life and found different meanings within. It’s beautiful and breathtaking . It will break your heart and heal your soul. Being human is such a magical thing and yet some of us get so caught up in the rhythmic day to day of a busy life that we never stop to enjoy all the things that make us human. Such a masterpiece with a score that will truly move you.
The 80s will always be the future for mankind.
Quite probably one of the greatest sci-fi motion pictures of all time.
My parents had this song on a cd. Since it was the only one, I would hear it on our every trip down São Paulo's mountainous regions towards the seaside. I've never asked where this masterpiece came from, but it has always seemed to touch me in a different way. Strangely, I decided to watch Blade Runner for the first time in November 2019, and could finally recognize one of the most meaningful songs of my childhood. Thank you, universe!
I was 16 when I lied my way into the theater and saw Blade Runner. Nothing would ever be the same again.
Listening to this while currently drinking at a small bar in central Tokyo, looking outside the window at a cloudy, neon lit night.
Blade Runner. This film had it all. Actors. Music. Emotion. Beauty. Meaning. The ultimate masterpiece.
