I have the same model, but it's a grey-ish green. The text I get out of it is incredibly crisp just like my daisywheel typewriters. Only problem is it's a lot louder in person than in this video. Fantastic stuff!

That’s a very attractive looking yet functional Smith Corona typewriter. It certainly is a testament to years gone by when pretty much everything made were built to last almost indefinitely as long as you took care of it. That said, it saddens me as to where we are today how everything is made to break at some point regardless of how careful you are with it. 😢
