2.5 ssd is good if you have old pc like gen4 with mobo that dont have nvme slot. Still way better than HDD. But if you do have nvme slot, better to buy nvme, the price almost the same anyway probably 5-10 dollar different and its worth it
I mean no offense but also another cool thing is with sata it doesn't use pcie bandwith like gpus nvme drives and you have a set amount of lanes with a pc and sometimes with full 16 lane gpus and a ton of pcie lane using components it can bottle neck but it isnt a big issue just i would recommend buying a bigger nvme ssd its important as your data needs grow and unlike sata more ssds can cause proformance issues sry if any of this information is wrong God bless
