THANK YOU for this video. And thank you for Lucia Cappachione. Her book, Working with your Other Hand has been critical in my own journey to healing from post-traumatic-stress disorder. However, in my experience, healing from alcoholism and drug addiction has also involved attending AA and NA meetings and doing what they suggest: attend meetings regularly; work with a sponsor; work through the 12 steps and 12 traditions; carry the message to other alcoholics and drug addicts.
Keep up the good work!

Eternally grateful to Sheleana Aiyana for introducing the amazing work of Lucia Cappachione.
If Rising Woman allows me to do so, I would like to share the following list:
16:18 - "Hello, This is your body talking"
29:20 - "Recovery your inner child"
41:40 - "The art of emotional healing"
48:16 - "The power of the other hand"
52:25 - "The creative journal"

@KrisenNaidoo

Great interview very sad to hear about her passing just now. Such a pioneer in the inner child recovery world.

@birdienumnums1

so glad I found this video

@awakintdesigns2914

This woman is gold. Nutrition and nature learning should be utmost... I have Reggio Emilia philosophy based training in childcare/early childhood. I love creativity.. open ended natural resources.. understanding of our sources of sustenance. It’s our past and future xx

@stephaniekaye9395

I wish everyone could see this! Thank you so much both.

@Calr29

Oh my goodness I'm in occupational therapy school and we are taught how to teach handwriting through using the senses. This is everything OT and everything I needed to hear!

@mertkanar

Hello, "The power of your other hand" is the best book helped mt in some areas. Thanks for recording Lucia Cappachione. Not watched all the movie but as I see, She is showing some tips about the books phylosophy.

OMG 💕 💕 💕 💕 💕 I loved SO MUCH this interview, I already read a couple of her books and practice with writing with my non dominant hand. Seeing and feeling her energy and how she explains everything is SO GOOD, she keeps it simple and effective. I'm forever grateful for her work and thank you so much for uploading this interview Sheleana 💕

@GadgetsGearCoffee

I've been doing art therapy after trying other therapies, for a few months now and it's been great but I attribute that mostly to my actual therapist. Though having visuals is really helpful to see what you're feeling

@jori_DeFi

What an educational video. Thank you both for spreading your knowledge and loving this beautiful life.
Best,
Jorida

Wow. Thank you. This was excellent. It was by chance that this video came up on my YouTube’s homepage. I’m certainly going to follow up and look into purchasing ‘The Creative Journal’ for my own emotional healing journey, and even look at the other books such as ‘The Power of Your Other Hand’ and ‘Drawing Your Stress Away’. This vlog has given me a greater sense of hope that I can attract the things I want in my life rather than sabotaging it. I’m getting on in life and it upsets me that my life hasn’t turned out the way I thought it would. I’m looking forward to the outcome/s of trying Lucia’s strategies. Thank you Lucia (and Sheleana).

@FIRESTORM23

Great interview! So informative and interesting!

@maleza616

I cannot thank you enough for sharing this interview. Such a transformational work!

@m17434

PS The 12 Steps and 12 Traditions pioneered by AA back in the 1930s is still revolutionary because it recommends that we ask God-As-We-Understand-God to become part of our own healing journey. What I learnt from God is that all is perfection. My trauma experienced in childhood was the direct result of past-life karma. Reincarnation really does happen. We are not human beings having a spiritual experience, we are spiritual beings having a human experience. God reaches all of us through our wounds - that is where the light can get in. Knowing that all is perfection gave me the courage to embark on my own mission on planet Earth.
We are all here for a reason. We all have our own unique purpose.
We are all children of God.

@nataliamantaluta

Yes, thank you for this content 🙏🏼🌸

@ametisten1

I thank you so much for this video! 💕 One thing I would be careful about saying is that people with developmental trauma and traumatic childhood have a "very, very high rate of illness in later life", a little like getting a sentence. I'm 46 with childhood trauma and I have never been ill like that but I absolutely believe that we keep it stored in the cells and that it needs to get out but that doesn't automatically mean you are going to get ill. 💕

@EmpoweredPercussion

I have to wait another week for the book so instead I found this video to tide me over. My name is Aaron, founder of EPC, attended the college of visual arts in 97'... came across the deep wounds during hollotropic meditation during a period of altered State of conciousness in circa 2001... Through all of this I've always been an artist and drummer... now at age 42 I need to do more work. My body is telling me things through pain even though I'm very healthy. Tired of hitting these walls musically and relationally 🤷🏻‍♂️ Very interested in hearing more of this pioneering work! ✊🏼
