You seem to study something related to China, or at least have close ties to China.
It's nice to hear all the names being pronounced correctly :D

Brazil also had a serious drought in this period (1877-1879) that claimed about 400.000 to 500.000 lives.
We, Brazilians, also call it the Great Drought (Grande Seca, in Portuguese), and it took place in region Northeast of our country.

Excellent video thank you.

What a horrible tragedy! The drought might have been survived if war and unrest had not used up all the reserves of food.
