@HeftyLefty1873

Gotta love YoungGala hitting us with these nostalgia bombs during the dog days of summer. 🙌 keep making these great videos my guy

@Epicentr

Those were all some REAL responses, so very honest.

I'd never seen the one from Zeke before so that was huge.

Jordan, I think, was both true but still at arm's length. He's probably had so many disappointments in himself but changed them.

LeBron, if you ask me, is LOSING his humility and honesty.

Thanks again for a great video, YG. 🎉

@Midragor

Amazing video man

@hdp5784

With MJ answer you can see the difference

@chukwunonyeanyakoha8573

The ultimate Positivist. MJ's answer shows the difference; his attitude and mentality are just up there...

@DarthBaylen

J.j.Barea from Costa Rica 🇨🇷 is still looking for you lebum leflop james

@masterrserch3971

Siiiigh...
Ya know.
I don't like LeBron.
I used to like him.
Then I became very indifferent and resentful of him with THE DECISION, like many others, I mean let's be real.

But as the years keep going and this man's actions and basically just way he presents himself, especially when the going is tough, has really turned me against him and what his legacy will be. He doesn't realize how much he's hurting himself and an absolutely ungodly, INCREDIBLE career.... watching him smoothly and crisply GLIDE across that court, it's like motion art.
When he REALLY turns it on, ya know,,the proverbial "eye of the tiger," I don't knlw about anyone else,,but I can't help but think "this boy was PUT ON THIS PLANET to play basketball, and play it on a level where he legit looks like an OP video game creation, in action."
Yeah, his shot is shaky, he makes mistakes, but look at his highlight reel--- it's like he's in the Matrix; tjere isn't a wasted movement, or jittery, weird looking action... the kid was built for ball...
But what's My point?

It's EXACTLY his part in this video... u have LEGENDARY, LITERALLY "all time" greats--- meaning another 75 years from now, these players will be remembered or brought up, etc... and u see them unzipping themselves and talking about real, specific, detailed, human, relatable, REGRETS.
I can say "I regret losing my high school frosh championship game," all day.... ok, and?
EVERY game, every sport, has 2 undeniable inevitabilities:
A winner
A loser
Anyone who doesn't hate to lose shouldn't play.
So OF COURSE EVERY GODDAMN ATHLETE and COMPETITOR is going to "regret" losing a game, losing a chip---- but WHAT ABOUT THAT LOSS do u mean?
Perfect example, right off the bat:
Chuck regrets not going 110mph with 110% effort, using his all time talents to DRIVE his team to an out the gate, series driving victory...
Isaiah regrets letting emotions drive him to an immature, unsportsmanlike action of no handshake, walking off the court, the repercussions of which may have been the main factor leaving him off the greatest team ever assembled in any sport; a team, like I mentioned, that is so "all time," that you'll see documentaries made about them 50+ years from now.
Rodman, emotions let him say something so halfwitted that he, HE, DENNIS RODMAN, of ALLLL PEOPLE, are embarrassed by it lol...I repeat, DENNIS RODMAN IS STILL EMBARRASSED SOME 30 YEARS LATER....

Yet here come Lebron, and I instantly think, "Ok young man, I don't know what year this is, but I am so interested in what you're gonna say that I HOPE it helps me dislike you LESS, as you expose the kind of man you are..."
........
......
...
"I regret losing a 17 point lead in game 2," and even though it was praise, the only name you heard was DWAYNE WADE, before he finally spit out Dirk's name, whom we all know was the human dagger to Miami's heart that game...

WHAT ABOUT THAT GAME, LEBRON?? WAS THAT THE MOMENT WHERE YOU REALIZED THAT STATISTICALLY YOU WERE DESTINED TO BE THE 5TH BEST PLAYER IN THAT CHAMPIONSHIP LOSS, WHERE YOU WERE OUTPLAYED BY FRIGGIN 5'6" JASON TERRY, A 6TH MAN, & YOU DID HISTORY'S BEST HARRY HOUDINI IMPRESSION WHERE YOU VANISHED IN EVERY 4TH QUARTER???

See THIS is why people DESPISE him right now, as of late July 2024.... because time and time and time again, when he can open up, and expose a piece of his heart and his flaws and his regrets, to the tens of millions of NBA fans, so as to endear himself to us all, he either goes so vague that he sounds robotic, or he simply blames everyone else but himself.
He didn't do that here, i.e. blame others... but when he had a chance to show that he's not an egotistical, infallible, narcissist, he says, "I hate that we lost."

Yeah, no shyt. Again, we all hate to lose, and if not, get out of competitive sports. Donate to charity the rest of your contract that is paying u 50 more mil ur billionaire buttocks doesn't "need" and leave the world of competition.

And then he has the audacity to say that was a learning moment lol...
Oh yeah? How so? Cuz last I checked, not only does NO game 2 EVER decides a series,,but you had 3 more chances to "learn" from that loss and win it all, and yet you scored 11 points in all the 4th quarters combined, or some INSANELY pedestrian number

I know no one will read alllll this, but I felt compelled to THOROUGHLY explain why I'm saying what I'm saying about him, and WHY I was at best, a respectful admirer of him once....and now, I just don't like the kid.
He really is what you DONT want to teach your kid to be if they're going to make a life for themselves in pro sports

@nikkonreinold9821

and here i thought lbj was regretting his hairline only

@reoscorpio

to me what stood out the most was Isiah crying about not being on the Dream team.. I GET IT, i do.. But i never thought ANY professional athletes should be competing in the Olympics .. that's a place that was set up for amateurs to get their glory.. Players who are making crazy millions, nah.. they already have the NBA finals.. and Championship rings. When the Olympics told Manny Pacquiao, he couldn't compete.. i thought GREAT.!!! What does an 8 division legend need to be competing on a platform made for amateur league fighters for.. They're on the their way to the Hall of fame.. why do they need to get an Olympic Medal for at the end of their careers.. Like DOESN'T LEBRON ALREADY HAVE ENOUGH.?? Also, my dude Stef.. they're legends. Let the have nots get some
