The thing I’m happiest about from this are the minor changes for the sake of convenience. For example I find the ability to set gear loadouts incredibly important. Also, the ability to use the training room while waiting for a match is really significant. All of it was very interesting.

For those who didn’t notice, the store manager for the locker items is Harmony, a character that has actually been somewhat present before in the series. She’s part of the musical band known as Chirpy Chips that plays all sorts of battle music in Splatoon 2. If you look it up, she’s right there on the album cover!

I love how Splatsvile feels so alive, seeing the Inkling and Octoling playing Rock Paper Scissors and reacting to their win or loss might be the best thing they’ve shown.

whoever this announcer was definitely needs a raise. everything was so easily digestible, and i’m glad new players can find their way even easier! she sounded so energetic, intrigued, and passionate overall. this 30 minute direct was beautifully executed!

The reporter did a superb job explaining the entire game, one part at a time. Whether she explains the stages, characters, and weapons for example, she had a truckload of energy to give out and made the Direct so much fun to watch, even if it's half an hour long!

The announcer here and on the direct is so good. She sounds so energetic and passionate and it fits the game really well and gets me excited to play even more. I am so unbelievably hyped up for this game omg I’ve been a fan of Splatoon one but I didn’t get a hold of the game until Splatoon 2 cause I was poor lol I legit can’t wait to play this every day.

Words cannot express the joy I feel in seeing Harmony finally making her onscreen debut after her indirect presence in both previous games and both King for a Day tournaments. Blitz It!/Chip Attack is still the best song in the series.

I love how the splatoon colour themes are based on complimentary colours (opposite colours), for example… Splatoon 1 - orange and blue Splatoon 2 - pink a green Splatoon 3 - yellow and purple Some of the colours are slight variations such as pink, it’s meant to be red but pinks a good substitute

FINALLY, A GAME MODE WITH MORE THAN 2 TEAMS! Entire direct was amazing, and props to the announcer. But it's something I've been asking for for ages! I'd love to see a 4 team turf war become a thing. 2v2v2v2, spawning at 4 corners of different maps or maybe all close ish to the middle and able to then reach the further ends.

The idols seem to be more traditional than our previous idols and I love how they showed how diverse inklings and octolings can look, with their different styled eyes and faces. It's just incredible to be honest. I've a feeling this game is going to be one of the best of 2022 (YALL STOP FIGHTING IN THE REPLIES WE GET IT, FRYE HAS A BIG FOREHEAD SHE CUTE

I like how the splatana wiper reminds me of the master sword when it shoots beams, I think it’s going to be a really cool weapon to use.
