If you get a chance to see this in an honest-to-goodness cinema, DO! I first saw this at the Gene Siskel Theater in Chicago on a Halloween weekend, and after rewatching it on my iPad I realized much of the climax gains strength from being projected onto an enormous screen above you. It works on an iPad too, mind you, but Rob Zombie seems like a genuine and quite knowledgeable movie-lover, and I suspect he shot this with the big screen specifically in mind. Even the slow creep from the ordinariness of the opening scenes to the … uh, [no-spoilers] of the climax is more deeply underlined by seeing it on a 20 ft by 40 ft screen. Go, go, go see this in a movie theater!

Ughh this is one of my all time favs

@NIRDIAN1

This is one of his more recent-ish films, right? Reminds me a LOT of the Suspiria Reimagining tbh! Highly recommended both Suspiria films if you haven't seen them! Dario's original is just absolutely WILD in every way, and the Reimagining (more fitting than calling it a "remake" tbh) goes incredibly hard and Tilda Swinton is astonishing in multiple roles!

@lightknot359

If you're going to do Rob Zombie, do his main trilogy of movies. "House of 1000 corpses", "The devils rejects", and "The 3 from hell"
