“THAT LAS GUN HAS KILLED 99% OF EVERYTHING THAT HAS EVER LIVED, UNFORTUNATELY YOU ARE FIGHTING THE 1%”
Colm just casually dropping some of the best Warhammer fan songs. The Council of Terra decree a whole album of Space Shanties is needed👌🏻
Those who doubt the Might of the Lasgun have never run through a field of a thousand of them!
Let it be known : the planet broke before the Guard did.
In honor of the million plus Guardsman that died during the making of this song.
"That’s why the poor bloody Guard always win. We’re expendable. One trooper for three over-powered, post-human adversaries? That’s a victory."
This series of songs really has me thinking the Adeptus Mechanicus should probably get a chain gang style work song.
I can imagine all of Colm's Warhammer songs being canon. "Paid in Full" Being sung by Space Marine initiates/recruits as they drill "Imperium's Dream" being sung by a choir of chapter serfs aboard a space marine warship just prior to entering battle "For the Guard" sung by guardsmen in some scummy watering hole during their first (and possibly only) liberty/leave between campaigns
I see that the Remembrancer Order is alive and well in the 42nd millennium. Ave Imperator. You are doing His work, Colm!
Fear not the bullet with your name on it; instead, fear the shell marked "to whom it may concern". Krieg: "Dear grid square..."
The Emperor has chosen Colm as his new herald! Banger of a song mate, makes me wanna replay Rogue Trader as a dogmatic this time xD
Without the Custodes, the Imperium would fall in a millenium. Without the Astartes, the Imperium would fall in a century. Without the Imperial Guard, the Imperium would fall in a day.
The drums almost feel like the stomps of boots. A marching song just the same as a Void Shanty
"Let it be known that the planet broke before the Guard did". Cadia Stands.
"We're the shield, we're the spear, the imperium sword".. now that's a line to die to.
For 10,000 years the hearts of men have beaten back a galaxy that despises us for no other reason save that we have the audacity not to lie down and die. I don't really play Warhammer but I just absolutely love the imperial guard. Orks are fun. Space Marines are cool. Nids are an interesting take on cosmic horror. Chaos is all about the aesthetic. The guardsmen though, they are where my heart belongs.
Men of Tanith: Do You Want to Live Forever?
These have all been fantastic, and weirdly, my toddler DEMANDS to listen to your Warhammer songs on repeat.
I could 100% see certain regiments singing this round a barracks with bottles of amasec held high
