I use the UAD version. I like a bit more the MKI version for vocals rather than MKII.

I have the Presonus version of the plugin. I used it once. It does a cool shiny thing to a lead vocal. I'm almost always relying on a trusty 76/2a cascade. Every once in a while I'll pull up the CL1b plug and, for whatever reason, I never wanna bother dialing it in when I'm in my zone. The plug comes up, my brain goes, 'too many knobs' and I immediately reach for the Summit. 🤷🏾♂️

wasnt EL REY the "king" of vocal compression in the last recent years as per vsts ? , I heard many ppl complain the CL1B vst has nothing to do with the hardware unit (obviously) whatever works to get the job done, great content as always Chris

Why you not use vocal used on plugin on hardware also? Would have been excellent opportunity to allow listeners to hear difference or not hear difference 🤔
