Yeah, Batgirl shows up first in the series because there was a bit of an embargo about showing the same character in different shows and at the time, robin had been in the teen titans when this show first aired. They wanted batman to have a sidekick so they introduced Batgirl, but eventually teen titans ended and they were allowed to bring robin into the show. so they did.

By far one of the best adaptations of Batgirl if not the best. Really like the Olympic gymnast side of her character as well. Makes sense why she’s so acrobatic and can be taught by Batman so easily.

To be fair batgirl hes actually batmans kid, like hes adopted but hes still his son, you have a dad, a really cool one imo.

This show’s babs is my favorite ever. Shes the perfect balanxe of bubbly, spunky, & naive. And her camaraderie with robin is great. Wish more batman media would take the interpretation of batgirl getting inspired snd trying to become batmans sidekick first (which he residt at first only to begrudgingly accept), with robin coming in later but more officially. Their rivalry was so good!

I love how this show didn’t fall in the usual formula of having Dick and Barbara falling in love with each other like always, but rather have them be as squabbling siblings who always compete to be their father’s favorite
