6 Things Highly Spiritual People Quit Slowly
1) Quitting the need for external validation
2) Letting go of material attachments
3) Releasing the need for control
4) Abandoning toxic relationships
5) Ceasing to compromise your authentic self
6) Quitting the fear of death

Good insights. I was sick, disabled for 38 years with many "incurable" diseases like MS. I had no concept about healing myself. I read about meditation and that a benefit was inner peace. I started a simple 5 minute daily practice. I quickly discovered I had thoughts, but I wasn't my thoughts. If I wasn't my thoughts, who am I? I heard a "voice" say Perfect Spirit. I knew that's it, my spirit is perfect and I'm not this damaged body and mind. Then I knew, All is Well and all concern about my health was gone. I experienced a medical miracle. My doctor's cannot explain me. I reside in peace today, healthy for 12+ years. No cane, no medicine and no doctors.

The day I gave up wanting to be loved was the most liberating, wonderful day of my life. The hilarious irony is that, ever since, I have felt continuously full of love and overbrimming with it. 🙏

Everyday I wake up and hear, “You have everything you need.” So true!

I'm 65 and from SriLanka. I thought I'm alone in this journey. Glad to know there are more to help each other. Thank you Brother.

I was a party boy up till age 40, that changed in 2012. I started taking spiritual classes taught by a local shaman. After a few healings and a soul retrieval, my life definitely changed for the better. A few things I quit doing is fishing, hunting and killing spiders and bees. All life became so precious. My love for trees became immense, the bigger the better. I stopped using drugs and heavily drinking. I messed up a couple times and over indulged and each time, I had a visit in my dream from a different spirit guide who expressed their disappointment in me and chewed my ass, one almost literally since it was a bear. Its been difficult to learn how to be happy in life without the need of partying all the time. Another thing I quit doing was watching TV. I was finding myself being very emotionally triggered by world events that caused death and injuries, like I could almost feel their pain. During my first healing, I had some amazing things happen to me, one of which was the ability to see colors while meditating. These colors have changed over past 12 years.✌️♥️🌟🙏

So true. 12 yrs ago I lost everything: career, home, retirement, grown children. I had a very bad nervous breakdown. NOBODY was there for me. I walked away with nothing. I was bat 💩 crazy. I Put my dogs and cats in my motorhome along with the most treasured belongings I could fit in. I spent 6 months crossing the country from the west coast back to my roots on the east coast. I discovered these things along the way. I'm still learning. It's been a great journey and in spite of everything I'm glad I'm here in this place now. I live by what Confucius said,
" the journey of a 1000 miles begins with one step".
 I encourage everyone who is lost and in pain to take that step.

Thank you for creating this video 🙏

One thing I do a lot less, is judging people. I believe everybody is at a certain place / stage in their journey. I can only hope for them to wake up and free themselves from all values we created.

@angelarenee1046

Number 2 is maybe the biggest hurdle everyone has to clear. We are taught our whole lives that status and ownership of material wealth is a sign of success. When i started stepping back i realised how vast and full a landfill is, and how much of that stuff was once brand new to someone and made them feel like a million dollars and now its rotting in a trash heap. Even expensive cars end up in the dump some day, expensive houses fall apart. The only real thing is that which does not perish, the spirit, the unseen but ever felt.

@fredyoung9384

I am clean and sober now.

I lost both of my parents within 5 1/2 weeks of each other. This profound experience of loss changed me forever. It kicked off my spiritual awakening and pushed me to stop engaging in toxic relationships including my marriage. It is indeed terrifying, but I have never felt more sure of anything in my life. I realize now
that there is no time to live a life that is not deeply aligned with my soul. So my last chapter will be to live as authentically as possible: focussed on connecting with others, meaningful work, giving back, and spreading joy and light. My mother was the spiritual leader of our family and right before she died, I asked her if she was afraid of death. Her response startled me. She said that, in fact, she was not afraid. She trusted the divine plan, and so will I.

@irishdruid4516

The hardest part of spiritual awakening is finding "like minded" seekers, other than my spouse of 60 years, it has been difficult to find this support in our adventure. We have tried religious institutions, but too often their primary concern is the maintaining and expanding the institution and their rigid belief systems.

@tracyr.4170

This is exactly my journey as a follower of Christ. I am not religious or belong to any church. My spirituality is tied to knowing Jesus, my Lord and Savior. When you trust Him, He will give you this supernatural peace that surpasses any earthly understanding and eternal life when we transition from here. John 3:16 gives us this promise. I pray for whomever is reading my comment for His peace and love to come into your heart, mind and soul. Blessings to YOU!

@robertdavis9986

When you lose your mind(ego), material objects, and loved ones to experience solitude..the universe will fill your empty cup because you've made room for Spirit to enter. We open our mind when it's empty of this world......thanks for the video!
