Late August 1991. I had just graduated high school in May and was on my way to my freshman year in college when this song came out. It was everywhere. Brings back so many good memories. Every time I hear this song, I am transported to that era. Great times.

That song ended Mariah Carey’s three week stay at the top with Emotions then the following week Karyn White was dethroned by Prince and The New Power Generation with Cream. Great 90’s dance hit co- written by Karyn along with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis and was produced by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis.
