Gaslighting of course being one of those trendy terms that we have been hearing a lot lately however I want to add one more aspect to gaslighting and that is just because you're being gaslighted it doesn't mean the person gaslighting you is even aware of what they're doing and this is very important to understand. Gaslighting does not require malice or even ill intent. It could be motivated through misunderstanding or the gaslighters need for control due to their own lack of substance. It's possible they have themselves a distorted view of reality or even perhaps that they were gaslighted at one time and the effect was so detrimental they simply don't know how else to act.

I've had just about all of these done to me properly by 1 person... I can confirm that this is 100% true and correct. If you haven't truly been through this, it's even harder to grasp what this can do to a person.

6:18- 6:36 this line exposed me. this is literally my thought process. i follow herd mentality because I don't wanna miss social connection. in india , where i live, i do put up with all the religion stuff, knowing very well its all farce, superstition, tradition but still say what people want me , still obey them so that i donot miss out social connection that i get by going to diwali , holi, all other festivals, all friends who believe and live by beliefs.

The only time it matters is if it is actually happening to (said individual) at the moment. People are aware of the situation at the moment.  Unstable, irrational and wtfever the label is at the moment is inconsequential:  if the “Victim” has physical evidence and proof, it’s a game changer.   GET THAT EVIDENCE!!

What I hear is human nature, any and all interactions from others falls into one or more of these descriptions... being aware doesn't make it go away or fix it.  But if you are going to make each interaction fall into one of these categories, then they are all poisoned by the very awareness of it.  No matter what you do or think FOR another, that can also be made to fit into one of these fields; but a lot of the actions here described are not even bad, but the intentions makes them so.

This is what my daughtersbf is doing to her. I think they are both gaslighting me and won't let me see my granddaughter.  I had to block them to take my power back. Now they say maybei can see lily if I apologize to Camfor threatening his custody case but I already did. Foyer they said I was on drugs then it was because my mentally ill son said he wanted to kill me. N ow it's because I need to kiss his.

Basically there is no "decent" people... we all qualify into one or ten of these descriptions. Both receiving and doing it to others.  If one doest fit, you can change the angle or point of view and it dies, say someone helps you or you help someone, she is not helping you she is making you depend on her to control you and your time etc, and you don't help anyone, why help at all? you are trying to men them think they owe you something, you.... see?? anything can be anything.   Cheap psychology and cheaper philosophy.   All in nature is deception, the tiger deceives the deer somehow, "lies" to it to be able to survive, etc etc etc.  But humans do it and is all evil, somehow.   Of course yo can attach any intention to any interaction you have with anyone.  "but, but, that's not what I said, all I dis is make you aware of these thing ssh you can notice them and pay attention, so others don't harm you". yea right.
