As someone of Hispanic heritage, I believe it's important to uphold and respect the laws of the country we live in. Entering or staying in a country illegally is, a violation of the law. When people who are not here legally take to the streets in protest, it is contradictory and may undermine the message they are trying to give. Everyone has the right to seek a better life and advocate for fair treatment, but it must be done with humility and respect not through vandalism or disorderly conduct. These actions not only harm the image of the broader immigrant community but also overshadow the legitimate voices calling for reform.
