Great to watch a video where the narrator is pronouncing the Chinese names and words correctly. Plus the narrator is saying the names and words with the proper tones as well.

I have been studying European and middle eastern history all my life I am excited to finally learn some asian history

Something to add: Not all emperors have temple names. Before Tang, temple names were reserved as an honor and were only given to extraordinary emperors. For instance, out of 15 emperors of West Han dynasty, only 4 of them were given the honor to have a temple name. That’s part of the reason why modern day literatures usually refer to them using Posthumous names, rather than temple names.

3:04 It's fascinating considering that Japan to this day still uses Era Name for chronological indication. As this comment is written in 令和7年/ Reiwa 7 year.

@Language_Guru

Thank you for the informative video. I am curious about the meaning of that very long posthumous name.
