Looks like a tax write off to me... that's what I did with my collection... but I am an author/historian too. Plus, a sword thrown down a hallway that sticks in a wall scares the Hell out of an intruder, especially when you produce another one... officially, I'm not talking from experience having dealt with psycho stalkers and lazy/corrupt cops. Swords are wonderful "multi-tools."
