@ChipmunkuChan

Can you guess how many times I say "Well-Timed RPG" in this video?

@helge5565

Basically:
Umbrella: It’s outbreak time!
Wesker: It’s Weskering time!
Protagonists: It’s RPG time!

@IceCrystalWolf

So glad you included the lore of Leon being the resident eyecandy of RE games

@nikomfour

Gonna get a cat and name it Albert Whiskers

@the-percival-ink

"they call her ada becasue she can do no 'wong'" fuckin love this so much

@TotallySearch

Crazy how Chris got some many redesigns in this series

@Megsleyy

I love you saying “it stops making sense after this” as if I wasn’t confused for the first half either

@bens5859

"Where's everyone going? bingo?" is actually a good one liner. All of the zombies in the village are middle aged

@Motifcycle

Leon and Ada are obsessed with each other because they're both solid 10s.

@lucasmcarthur4941

You managed to summarize perhaps the most convoluted series in less than 40 mins.... accurately. bravo.

@miahan8988

31:26 "gone are the mentions of Leon Kennedy" dude, I was so disappointed that I stopped folding the laundry, stared at my tablet for a few seconds and then let out a very dejected "nooooooooo"

@pikachufan3588

In case anyone is curious, miranda found the the megamycete right after her daughter died wayyyyy back then. It was in the caves under the village and is of unknown origin and the mold acts like a neural network and stores memories and data of those who die near it. (Which is how miranda was going to basically download her baby from the megamycete.) When Spencer worked with Miranda he learned about the mold which inspired him to pursue artifical evolution. When he found the flowers that naturally produced the progenitor virus after learning of a tribe of people living unnaturally long, he and Miranda argued about which was better, mold or viruses. They disagreed and Miranda did her mold experiments while Spencer went to develop the virus experiments with help from the Marcus' funding and Birkin's experience.

I felt the origin wasn't clearly explained so I wanted to make sure people got how the mold and viruses shared a similar origin story with Miranda vs Spencer.

This video was fantastic. Thanks so much for doing this!

@Magyargyerek2222

Ethan Winters is the chaddest fucking Husband, Father, and Man to ever exist.

@DemonKingCozar

It's crazy how out of every zombie franchise, the virus' of resident evil should take over the world and yet, it never does.

@ErrickaAnnMarie

"Albert starts weskering" 20:40 a beautiful line.

@SolidArf

The whiplash of "Wow I really need to get into RE" to "Hoo boy, I am too scared to get into RE" to "*Wow* I really need to get into RE." I got attached to a bunch of characters I've only known in periphery before this, just from your narration alone.

Phenomenally put together and one of your best yet! I'll be revisiting this one a lot once I finally start playing these.

@snowkore

RE6 is the most constant stream of "okay yeah sure" nonsense you'll probably ever have to meet a video game halfway with and I love it for that. and I love this video for the herculean task of providing a genuinely engaging and hilarious, ridiculously digestible, perfectly thorough timeline of the events of Resident Evil. you hit an immaculate ratio between thoroughness of information from each game in the series without in any way overshadowing a desire to play the games themselves. that is really hard to do!!! but you did it! simply incredible stuff as always Chip.

@emersedclock6254

Shout out to my main girl Rebecca Chambers, she may have been dropped, but never forgotten. Its a shame Shinji Mikami and the RE team at the time were butting heads over her character, I feel she could have been a great candidate for great character developement if she had been given a little more time in the series apart from 2 games

@user-iw4op1ul9p

Here after Requiem

@Kabutoes

Nice use of cutscenes to explain the lore, it worked really well
