People do this to channels they don't like, usually for political reasons. No one talks about it to avoid spreading the idea further. And because it's very hard to prove.

I always suspected Project Farm did this. He got about 20k subs in less than a month of starting from a video of him spraying WD-40 into his lawnmower. All the comments spoke glowingly of his experiment, like he was the god of WD-40 lawnmower spraying content.

Time and patience is what it takes. The channel is slowly climbing. . Time and trial is the best way to go for some of us and just keep learning and moving forward. . Think about how you want to be in 1 year from now.

Just don’t! I paid for advertising my channel before, and these ppl decide to buy fake sub and views for my channel! It took me 3 years to get my channel back to normalðŸ˜

It's better to be patient and enjoy what you do. To me people who buy fake subs and views doesn't have their viewers interest only theirs. I hope YouTube take these channels down if they find out that they have brought subs that way it might help the ones who's growing organically get out there more 😀

This is timely. I literally have someone in my FB inbox trying to sell me promotion of my music. They're guaranteeing followers, streams l, and subs on my various socials. What a ripoff. I mean, I May be a small fry in terms of views, streams, subs and all. But I want it to grow because people actually like it... not because I paid $$$ to watch my stats increase on some analysis page

I agree. I remember seeing such stuff get promoted in around 2013 or so, but then there was a news article (which I think was from The Straits Times) around the time about fake fans and they did bring up such stuff. I did finally get an idea for a YouTube channel that would be fuelled by a potentially winning formula (mostly for how different it would be compared to other channels YouTube recommends me), but I only came up with the initial idea in 2021 following a long series of events, and I'm still growing that idea with new concepts that would be rolled out over time following the channel's launch.

I used to buy subs and views with my old channel. how it went? well, I have a new channel now - and got 1000 times the success in half the time without ever buying subs, views, likes, etc. So listen to this man, he knows what he's talking about 😄

I think its completely cool to buy some subs, likes etc in the beginning but only if you really have quality content. I didn't want to work my a** of just to get couple of likes. I got myself little push from fame ster in terms of subs and only after that my channel started to get organic traffic. Great video btw!
