Convincing People to Give You a Chance in IT

Beginning an Information Technology (IT) career is challenging. There is an expectation of experience for an entry-level role. How are you supposed to get a job with no experience?

The first portion of this video talks about how you can do certain things such as certifications, volunteering, and taking tech-adjacent projects to add valuable keywords to your resume.

If you are struggling to get interviews, the problem is likely your resume.

The second portion of the video covers what to expect for those getting many interviews but no job offers. If this is the case, the problem is likely soft skills and the ability to interview.
