1) Where do I buy these cars from? My most common stores are:


US: Mint Models, Replicarz, FiveDiecast, Diecast Models Wholesale
Europe: Model Car World, Car Model, CK, Modelissimo, and FaceBook Marketplace.

2) Do I have the boxes? Yes, I am currently paying for monthly offsite storage.

3) Do you have them insured? Yes, I have collectors insurance.

4) Can I buy one, are they for sale? No. I sell now and then on eBay when I have a duplicate.

5) How much is this all worth? I don't get into specifics. But the collection has appreciated and is worth more than my 401k lol.

6) Why do you let them get dusty? It would be a full time job to keep these cars dust free. I have over 250 in cases which is larger than most collections. The other 1000+, no matter how careful you are, you will cause damage to some.

7) Why not put them all in cases? That is a poor use of space and a large sum of money. I decided long ago that this setup in my basement is temporary.

8) What comes after you outgrow this space? I plan on building 3-5k sq ft within 1 mile of my home. It will be called the Michigan Model Car Museum and it will be open to the public.

9) Can I send you cars from my collection for you to display in the museum? This has been very kind and happened a lot, but its not fair of me to accept donations of cars YEARS in advance. It is going to take me YEARS to save up what may be half a million dollars to make this happen.
