"Marcha de las Malvinas" - Argentine Patriotic Anthem [Lyrics + Translation]

Marcha de las Malvinas (March of the Malvinas) was written by Carlos Obligado and composed by Jose Tieri in 1940. The song was broadcasted by the military government of Argentina during the Falklands/Malvinas War, and is sung to assert Argentine claims over the Falkland/Malvinas Islands.

On 2 April, 1982, Britain's colonial past reared its head as Argentina invaded the islands which it claims to be rightfully theirs, beginning the undeclared Falklands War.
