In today’s video, I spent two packed days in Tokyo visiting the city’s newest and most exciting coffee shops of 2024.
From Nihonbashi to Kuramae, I explored Tokyo’s vibrant coffee culture, stopping by Nexpect Coffee, First Crop, and Overview Coffee to discover unique concepts and flavors. Along the way, I revisited Parklet, caught up with friends at Pharos Coffee, and checked out a pop-up by Coffee Supreme Japan in Harajuku.
The journey continued to Light Up Coffee in Kichijoji, Onibus Coffee in Nakameguro, and Single O in Shibuya, showcasing Tokyo’s diverse coffee scene. Finally, I wrapped up the trip in Kuramae at Lonich and Sol’s Coffee Roaster, where heartfelt spaces and community charm made for a perfect conclusion.
Join me for this whirlwind coffee adventure filled with inspiration, stories, and incredible coffee.

"Kurasu" is derived from the Japanese word that means “to live” or “lifestyle.” What began as an online homeware venture has evolved into an internationally recognized leader in Japanese coffee brewing equipment.
Savor our specialty coffee at locations in Kyoto, Singapore, Bangkok, Jakarta, and Hong Kong. In 2021, we relocated our roastery cafe from Fushimi Inari to Nishijin, where we roast using a Loring S35 Kestrel.
Our mission is to introduce the world to Japanese coffee culture through coffee products, partnerships with roasters, and our signature roasts. Kurasu is more than a coffee shop—it’s a global ambassador for specialty coffee culture.
Don’t forget to like, subscribe, and let us know in the comments which coffee shop you’d like us to visit next. See you in the next video!
