Oakdale Fire | Fireworks warehouse explosion in Esparto, Yolo County | Update

Crews in the Esparto and Madison area are responding to a fire at a fireworks warehouse that broke out Tuesday. The fire is 0% contained and is 78 acres. The Yolo County Sheriff's Office said the explosion happened near County Road 23 and County Road 86A. Deputies said a warehouse storing fireworks exploded, sparking a fire. It was reported just before 6 p.m. Evacuation orders are in effect for the following zones: MAD063-A. Those evacuations are South of HWY 16, West of County Road 89, and North of County Road 25.
