Gravity Circuit (Hard Mode) - My First Try (Finale)

⚠️WARNING: This part of the playthrough goes into Gravity Circuit’s endgame stages, dialogue and all. If you plan on getting this game to play for yourself, do NOT watch this video or read the description below! ⚠️

Inspired by a couple of compilations I saw not too long ago, I’ve decided to take this plunge and attempt to beat Gravity Circuit on the hardest difficulty setting. I’ll take on these stages one at a time, prepare properly for each, and I’ll hopefully do well.

PLEASE NOTE: This is not a show of skill or expertise, so forgive me if you find my performance too lacking or notice mistakes I wouldn’t. 😔

Finale - Ark (Depths)
This was quite long for a final stage, even next to similar games like it. I did enjoy the gimmick of taking on two sides together with Nega, even though I exclusively went to the right side because I remember the left ones being really difficult to do. (I might be wrong) But man what an ominous place to be in, puts the Junkyard’s own aesthetic to shame.

Kernel
The Clone Array technique really helped with this fight’s second phase to remove Commander Circuit’s Burst Shield. Otherwise, this fight in hindsight isn’t too bad at first until the area is shrunk and Kernel is forced to fight faster and more aggressively. Poor man… made to die like any other Virus Grunt…

Commander Circuit
What made this fight more challenging is how fast and more frequently Commander Circuit kept attacking. Especially in the final phase; I barely had much time to catch enemies and fight back, even space got limited because the monster started spawning in bigger and beefier enemies this time. That I wasn’t expecting!

Chips-
Energy Absorber
Power Extender
Air Jumper

Techniques-
Clone Array
Rising Upper
Erupting Beam
Emergency Heal

And with that, Gravity Circuit’s Hard Mode… has been beaten. 🎉

Looking back, I really let my original dip into this mode scare me away, especially after both Break Circuit and Cipher Circuit kept beating me for nearly 30 minutes each… Now that I’m here with the confidence and knowledge of what it takes to overcome this, it wasn’t too bad so long as I utilised all that Kai is equipped with and stayed in motion at all times.

I’m happy I managed to beat it, and I hope you enjoyed watching this series of videos.

Enjoy.
