In Poland, with only several exceptions, we have drained all wetlands and modified the channels of nearly all rivers.
Today we even fill up small field ponds with rubble...
Meanwhile, each of them is priceless.
How will this affect the climate, our flood safety and drought risk?...
We slowly begin to realise it...
